Systems Manager (Health Safety)
.    Assessment of safety reports of Major Hazard Facilities (MHF) for
approval and licensing by DoCEP in accordance with relevant Dangerous Goods Safety (Major Hazard Facilities) legislation.
.    Auditing of licensed MHF/DG Safety Management Systems.
.    Liaising with approved risk and safety management consultants in
relation to assessment of dangerous goods' sites and MHF.
.    Attendance at HAZID/HAZOP meetings for the assessment of MHF
.    Management of databases for licensed MHF/DG.
.    Analysis of incidents and accidents at mine sites that are reported to the Resources Safety Division of DoCEP in accordance with relevant legislation, including liaising with internal and external clients on reporting aspects.
.    Providing guidance to the mining industry in relation to accident and incident investigation and reporting.
.    Presenting information and accident and incident trends to the mining industry by informal discussions, published reports and papers, presentations at industry forums and visits to mine sites.
.     Liaising with the mining industry to improve accident and incident investigation, analysis, reporting and the selection of appropriate controls.
.     Maintaining a client focus consistent with the DOCEP Customer Service Charter.
.     Working within EEO and Diversity principles and practices and demonstrating expected behaviours, in adherence with the DOCEP Performance Management System.
.     Project Management of  two major Western Australian mining
occupational health databases:
-    MineHealth, a database for health surveillance monitoring and
analysis results of all mine workers in WA
-    CONTAM, a database for atmospheric contaminant monitoring data from
mine sites in WA.
.    Reviewing and managing all business processes relating to
integration and quality management of mine health data.
.    Reviewing training programs and assessment procedures for
ventilation officers who perform CONTAM monitoring and the Approved Persons for the Mine Health Employees Health Surveillance Program.
.    Preparing business rules and specification documents as a
result of continued testing and maintenance of the occupational health systems.
.    Providing technical and scientific support, advice and
assistance to the Department and the mining industry relating to occupational health at mine sites, with a focus on health surveillance and atmospheric contaminant sampling.
.    Developing standard and non-standard scientific reports to
support future policy directions.

1994 to 2002:  Consultant of the Asian Development Bank in Indonesia Production of curriculum material for the Technical and Vocational Education Division of the Indonesian Department of Education. Management of the technical education project carried out from Malang, East Java, Indonesia

Auditor with QAS (Standards Australia)
Completed Quality and Environmental Management Systems Audits for a variety of companies, including ALCOA and Westfarmers in Perth.

Consultant Case Manager in the Future Act Unit, National Native Title Tribunal, Fred managed cases involving assessment of technical and land access issues and associated matters between clients in the minerals/petroleum resources industries and traditional land owners.
